Snorkeling Excursions out of Miami Beach
Miami Beach's best snorkeling is approximately 3 miles offshore and easily reached within 30 minutes by boat. Boat departures are every afernoon from the Miami Beach Marina beginning at 1:30 PM, returning by 5:30 PM.
Trips last four hour long and will take you over two different reef locations. You are in the water for one hour in each location enjoying a refreshing swim with the possibility of seeing dolphins, schools of tropical fish, sting rays, eels, nurse sharks, and more.
Scuba Diving out of Miami Beach
SCUBA Diving excursions will depart at the same time as snorkel excursions, and are also available Friday, Saturday, and Sunday mornings from the Miami Beach Marina in South Beach. Morning trips generally depart from 8 - 8:30 AM, and return around 12:30 PM to the dock.
Morning departures are usually to wreck sites that sit at 60 ft. or greater while afternoon departures are usually to shallow reef sites (40 ft. or less). A thorough list of common wreck dive sites in Miami Beach can be found here.
